Start with VPS hosting if you're hosting any video content. Shared hosting is only viable for tube sites that embed external videos. The $20-40/mo range gets you solid performance for most starting adult sites.

What to Look For
Before signing up with any host, verify these essentials:

Migration Tips
Moving hosts without downtime requires planning. Here's the step-by-step process I've used dozens of times:
Backup Everything First
Full site backup: files (via FTP/SSH), database (SQL dump), email accounts, DNS records. Store locally and verify you can extract it. Never trust old host to keep data after cancellation.
Set Up New Host

Lower DNS TTL

Final Sync & Shutdown
After 48 hours, do final sync (any new uploads/database changes). Verify 100% of traffic on new server (check old server logs = empty). Cancel old hosting. Raise DNS TTL back to 86400.

- Not lowering TTL first (DNS takes 24-48h instead of 1-2h)
